Revision of an INTERPOL CCF decision

If, after the Commission for the Control of INTERPOL’s Files made a decision on your request, you learned of a newly discovered fact that was not known to the CCF and could have led to a different decision, and no more than six months have passed since you learned of it, I will assess whether there are reasonable grounds to request revision of that decision.
Since March 2026, the CCF has required a two-page summary of the application for revision to be submitted first through its portal. This summary is prepared from the full application for revision: first, the full argument is developed in the full text, and then the points that should be included in the two-page document for initial submission through the portal are selected and condensed.
To do this, I need to analyse the previous CCF decision and the materials from the previous review; examine the newly discovered fact relied on, the documents supporting it, the time when it became known and its significance for revision; and select legal sources that can show that, taking that fact into account, the CCF could have made a different decision.
Submit all documents in the original language. The CCF accepts documents in English, French, Spanish and Arabic, so any document needed for the request that is not in one of those languages must be translated. If you already have a translation of such a document into one of those languages, submit it together with the original: I will check whether it can be used for the request to the CCF. If there is no suitable translation, I will prepare a translation of the necessary document into English, using terminology aligned with the arguments in the request to the CCF and the applicable legal sources.
Preparing the application and summary usually costs several thousand euros. The time needed for your specific case and, accordingly, the cost of preparation can be determined only from the documents.
I usually reply within one week after receiving all necessary documents and information. If no reasonable grounds for revision are apparent, I will simply tell you that. If there are reasonable grounds, I will quote the cost of preparing the application and summary and send the contract at the same time. You can pay for the service by bank transfer to my account in Switzerland or by other methods depending on the country of payment.
Once the work is complete, you will receive the full application for revision with a set of annexes, the summary prepared from it for initial submission through the CCF portal, and instructions on how to submit that summary yourself. If you want me to submit the summary on your behalf, a power of attorney will be required.
